Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the entertainment authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealed that he received a phone call from Al-Ahly's Egyptian Football President, Mahmoud Al-Khatib, to check on his health.
Al-Sheikh wrote on his official page on the social networking site "Facebook" today, Friday, that Al-Khatib had contacted him twice in the past two days.
Al-Sheikh added: "Al-Khatib reassured my health, thank him for this communication, I wish him and his generous family the best and may God protect everyone."
Al Sheikh expressed his anger in the last period of Al-Ahly's board of directors, and announced his resignation from the position of honorary president of the Red Fort.
Mahmoud Al-Khatib had rejected Al-Sheikh’s request to provide a private plane for Al-Ahly and a group of his fans on a trip to South Africa to play his match against the Sun Downs team, in the second leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals.
