Real Madrid announced in a statement on Thursday that it has returned all members of football and basketball teams to their homes to be quarantined after a basketball player was infected with the Coruna virus.
Real said in a statement on its website: "Real Madrid announces that the result of testing one of the club's basketball players came positive after examinations of the Corona Covid-19 virus."
He added: "Starting now, the club follows the recommendations of placing basketball and soccer teams in quarantine, as the teams share the club's training grounds."

He continued, "We have also decided to close the Al-Marran headquarters and recommend that all workers in this place remain in quarantine."
The announcement of Real Madrid caused the Spanish League to postpone the next two rounds of the competition, including Real's home match against Eibar, which was supposed to be held without fans on Friday.
Real added that all Spanish basketball championships have been postponed.
